HART - Homeless Animal Rescue Team

HART are in operation since November 2012 and run by 3 people. Our aim is to help homeless dogs & cats. We take in strays and look for owners, if no owner found we neuter, vaccinate, chip etc and find suitable homes. We also take dogs from many pounds from different counties in Ireland and even though we are not breed specific we are known for our love of sighthounds. The only surrenders we take are greyhounds as we feel they are in danger of being euthanized. We do not have a shelter and use private boarding kennels mainly and have a couple of foster homes.
