Rupert is yet another lovely lurcher we took in from the pound last month.

Rupert is a deerhound x measuring 24 inches to his shoulder, he has that lovely shaggy hair effect. His age is estimated at 18 months, he has puppy playfulness about him when he thinks you are not looking. Rupert was nervous when he first arrived but has come along way already. He is very good on a lead and pretty clean in his kennel which should make house training easier. Rupert gets on with all size dogs. Reports from the kennels is he is a total pleasure and they feel he will be a very loyal companion for a person/family. As he is shy/timid to begin with we feel older children 10+ are better suited for Rupert and rural or urban area, we do not think the hustle and bustle of a busy town or city would suit him. Rupert is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated. Home visit and adoption fee apply. Please note we are in North Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet the dogs and if applicable bring their own dog with them.
