Very active and friendly boy seeking a suitable forever home.
Murphy was originally adopted from the rescue as a very young pup, but was sadly returned recently as his excercise needs became to much for his adopters and as a result he had developed some reactivity on leads etc. Since being back at the rescue he is learning to interact with other dogs again and he loves other dogs and playing. His anxieties and behaviours he has developed in his previous home around walks/lead time may require further training, but we are happy to cover some costs with one of the positive dog trainers we recommend. He is a smart boy and just a puppy, so with some positive training he will grow into the best boy. He would be a great candidate for agility or fly ball training in the future and it would help him to not only meet his physical needs but also keep his mind busy.
He was fully house trained in his last home, but offcourse in a new home whilst he settles in you may need to do a little refreshing.
A home in a more rural setting would be a better option for him if possible. He has been raised around kids before, but we have put his age limit to kids 12yrs+ simply due to lack of manners and having a tendancy to jump up for attention. Again he is just a pup and would really benefit from some basic puppy classes or training.
