Rolo came into our care a number of weeks ago, he didn’t come from a great place and the bite marks really told us a lot, he was petrified the poor guy

Approx 9/10 month old, male, sable border collie
Rolo has adapted well into foster care, he is still quite and shy but once you win him over the love he will give is like no other 🥰 he enjoys lying beside you on the sofa and will paw you for more scratches. Giving his breed he is a rather chilled out boy in the home.
He has came a long way and he deserves a 5 star ⭐️ home. Rolo is looking for an active family who can give him regular mental and physically stimulation. He is a very clever boy and has learned a lot while in his foster home. He knows how to sit, lie down, walks well on the lead and off the lead with great recall. Someone who will continue this training and help him further his skills.
Rolo has stole all of our hearts with his soft and gentle nature, he deserves a family of his own. He is great around children, he is good with other accepting dogs. We feel another dog in the household would benefit him greatly. He is not cat tested. He sleeps in a crate at night in the kitchen with no issues and is house trained. He is a very clean well rounded boy with so much potential for the right home.
He can be left on his own for a number of hours with no issues. He enjoys fluffy toys and bones. He likes to be beside you on the sofa getting head scratching he will paw you when you stop. Rolo doesn’t have many issues as such given his circumstances but he does have food agression with other dogs, this speaks of his past and we have been working with Rolo on this and he has improved massively. He doesn’t enjoy travelling in the car he gets so scared he drools and freezes still. We have been working with Rolo on this with some positive reinforcement but these two issues will need continued work.
Rolo is vaccinated and microchipped ✅
Due to his age and nerves he has not been neutered therefore will NOT be rehomed with any intact females - we apologise for any inconvenience but hope you can understand this decision
