This is the beautiful Belle..A pure bred German shepherd approximately 7 years old looking for a 5 star home.
Belle came into our care in May this year. Its fair to say it was the best day of her life as it signalled the end of her life of cruelty, neglect,and fear .
Her tail was firmly tucked in and her head constantly bowed in fear of everything and everyone.
Her physical condition was equally poor as can be seen from the photos.
We're glad to say Belle has blossomed into the most beautiful gentle loving dog she was always meant to be .
Her physical and psychological health have improved immensely .
She's loving life for the first time and she's rewarding us daily with a wagging tail and fun filled play with her best friend Gràinne.
Her past will never be fully behind her as she can show caution and be timid with new people.
However her potential to be a fantastic loyal friend to the right person / people is very obvious.
In an ideal world Gràinne and Belle would never be separated ..
That really would be a dream come true but failing that Belle would do very well in a home with another similar sized confident dog.
