The lovely Logan was in Carlow/Kilkenny pound from June 2023 until we saw his post and offered him rescue space in October this year.

Logan is a 2 year old lurcher who has already spent most of his life in kennels, it is his time to get a family and couch to call his own. He has settled in really well with us, he is shy to begin with to both both male & female humans but does not take long to come around to you to show how affectionate he is. He is a strong boy who is reactive to small dogs and cats but gets on well with all dogs medium sized upwards. He is good friends with Eve a collie whippet we have, they have great fun zooming around. He is learning what toys are and enjoys playing with them by himself or with a pal. Logan is strong on a lead but is clever and can be trained to walk better on a lead in time. Logan is a really happy boy and has a loving a jolly personality although he is wary of men to begin with. Logan is house trained and can be left unsupervised for a few hours, there is no destruction or separation anxiety. All he does is sleep on the couch and greet you with a waggy tail when you come home. Logan can open doors which we learnt from his foster home. Logan is neutered, fully vaccinated including KC and chipped Please note we are in North Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet the dogs and if applicable bring their own dog with them.
