Toto has been a work in progress, please read his profile fully. He is in our care since February 2024 since his arrival from Kerry pound and only ready now.

Although a beautiful dog to look at, Toto has certain requirements which we will not deviate from. Months have been spent on Toto to get him ready for the right home. Toto was chipped when he entered Kerry Pound, his breed on the chip is Cavalier Spaniel/Collie and DOB is 1st July 2020 making him 4 years old. Toto needs a home as an only dog even though he does get on with some dogs but he likes to be center of the attention. He does not like livestock, horses or donkeys so rural area with any of those nearby is not a suitable home for him. Toto is very good walking in busy towns, he is not afraid of loud noises and clean in his kennel. He can pull on a lead but learns very fast what is expected from him, he is a very clever dog . An adult only home or with older teenagers would be ok once no one wants to be hugging him as he does not like that. A home that has visiting young children is a no for Toto and a quieter home is what he needs. He likes to potter around doing his own thing in the garden and does enjoy his walks. Toto travels well in a car but does not like being groomed which he will need as his coat is long, he may be ok with his new owner brushing him easily, he will need a muzzle to go to a groomers and vets. He can be a little bit unpredictable with strangers, we have had him muzzled when out in public areas, that would need to continue as we do not want Toto getting into trouble, a muzzle is just a precaution. Toto is neutered, fully vaccinated including kennel cough, wormed and de flead regularly. Home visit and adoption fee applies plus normal T & C's
